If I could sum the Travelodge in Anaheim in one word it would be this: LOCATION. This hotel is literally 2 tenths of a mile away from Disneyland. Here is my ideal vacation at Disneyland; wake up in a sweet room that only cost $60, have a nice little breakfast snack (some cereal or a bagel). Then take a stroll in the nice Southern California weather, and what do you know? Hey I am at Disneyland. It’s great and that’s all there is to it!
One thing you have to remember is that while it may not be a 5-star hotel; it does what it is meant to do; provide a place for your family to stay while on vacation. Who wants to stay in their room the whole time anyway? Not me. There is plenty to do within a couple of blocks. There is Downtown Disney which is loaded with shops, restaurants, and street performers. If you are coming for business, the Anaheim Convention Center is right next to Disneyland. You have 10 nice restaurants within 2 miles, not to mention all the fast food and mini-marts in the area.
There is a pool that is perfectly acceptable. Our room was adequate for a 2-bedroom standard. Well the $54 mid-week price was excellent. Not quite sure of the weekend rates or the suite rate, which from the photo below looks pretty good. You got air conditioning, a safe, and peace of mind since he Travelodge is in a nice part of Anaheim, lots of Police patrolling the area.
