The rooms are clean and adequate.  You get everything you need.  Two comfortable beds, cable, internet, a fridge, hair dryer, phone, and microwave area all standard.  But the real treat is the fact that the Super 8 sells Disneyland tickets.  This fact alone will save you at least 30 minutes of wait time at the ticket booths.  There is a pool and Jacuzzi for those who like to take a dip.

I know there are a lot of bad reviews out there but the Super 8 in Anaheim is only a 2 star motel so you have to know that beforehand.  But my stay was very pleasant.  We left early, stayed at Disneyland all day, came back to the motel pretty late, and crashed for the evening.  In that sense this motel is perfect.  And the continental breakfast is just what you need before stating a long day at Disneyland.

A well known motel, the Super 8 is right off Interstate 5 and is only a 10 minute walk to Disneyland.  The Anaheim Convention Center is less than a mile away too!  There are shuttles that run to the LAX Airport daily.   You are right in the heart of the Magic Kingdom with Downtown Disney and California Adventure right next store.

Being realistic a hotel that costs under $70 a night is not going to be anything 5-star or ground breaking; but staying at a big chain hotel would be the correct choice.  After all gigantic hotel franchises like the Holiday Inn do not stay in business for decades by providing subpar service.  And the HI is more than adequate.  The rooms are clean and well furnished.  The color pallet of the Anaheim Holiday Inn is right up my alley, a bit bold.  This actually lightens your day since you wake up to soothing colors instead of a boring egg shell white.  There is a convenient returatant that double as a continental breakfast.

The rooms come with television, alarm clock, and internet access.  You get a nice desk and chair that provide a nice place to sit and surf the web.  A coffee maker is standard as well as an iron and hair dryer.  Our room had a great layout with two big comfortable beds.  And you will be comfortable in the middle of the southern California summer with some nice air conditioning.

There is a lovely pool which in absolutely a highlight in the summer.  The gym is adequately stocked for that impromtu, once in a blue moon workout session.

Located on the far end of the Disneyland property, the Anaheim Holiday Inn boast about the cheapest hotel in the area.  And it definitely is a great deal.  Remember giant hotel chains are in business for a reason; they provide a good product.

You get all the amenities expected from the Best Western Hotel chain. My family of 4 enjoyed a standard room with 2 beds. The price was $99 or a weeknight although I have seen deals for a bit less during off season. The room was clean and offered everything a hotel room should. We got a microwave, mini-fridge, hair dryer, iron, and coffee maker all standard. Of course there is cable TV and internet access.

The pool is quite lovely and the spa is just what the doctor ordered after a long day of hoofing it around the Disneyland Resort. Parking is free which is a nice sentient since having to pay for a parking space feels like your being nickel and dimed to death, and I am happy to say you never feel that way at the Anaheim Inn. There is also a restaurant and lounge nearby in case you need easy access to food.  Check out the map below to see just how close this hotel is to Disneyland.

One thing you have to remember is that while it may not be a 5-star hotel; it does what it is meant to do; provide a place for your family to stay while on vacation.  Who wants to stay in their room the whole time anyway?  Not me.  There is plenty to do within a couple of blocks.  There is Downtown Disney which is loaded with shops, restaurants, and street performers.  If you are coming for business, the Anaheim Convention Center is right next to Disneyland.  You have 10 nice restaurants within 2 miles, not to mention all the fast food and mini-marts in the area.

There is a pool that is perfectly acceptable.  Our room was adequate for a 2-bedroom standard.  Well the $54 mid-week price was excellent.  Not quite sure of the weekend rates or the suite rate, which from the photo below looks pretty good.  You got air conditioning, a safe, and peace of mind since he Travelodge is in a nice part of Anaheim, lots of Police patrolling the area.

The Doubletree is perfect for business trips.  The small suites were spotless and sized nicely.  The bathroom was a nice surprise.  Suites have a super comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, Microwave, refrigerator, and wifi.
There is a pool and spa outside on the second story.  So bring your bathing suit because there is sun and warm temperatures year-round.  The Gym has weights and cardio workout equipment.   Lastly, there is an Arcade for those rambunctious teenagers.

Disneyland is but a few blocks away, but just far enough to miss the craziness surrounding Disneyland. Angels Stadium and The Honda Center (where the Ducks play) are just a few miles down Katella.
